Birds.ai is a rapidly growing deep learning company providing software for infrastructure inspections, looking for a commercial director to join the team.
We believe that we should get the maximum out of wind turbines, solar panels and other high value assets. For this we provide the operators of these assets with the Birds.ai View (ie. bird’s-eye view) of the status of their asset to take the necessary maintenance and operational actions in time. We deliver inspection reports of wind farms and solar farms to our customer Wien Energie (based in Austria) and run pilots for Shell and EDF.
Close deals. Make sales for inspection of assets and subscription to the Birds.ai View platform with a contract that is good for both Birds.ai and a happy customer.
Understand our customers. Find out their current workflow, their biggest challenge and how our product will solve it. Define / quantify value proposition for customers.
Scale Birds.ai. Develop business strategies, business models and the accompanying financial models to increase the company’s revenue (and impact on the world).
Grow Birds.ai’s business team. Create and lead the business development team. Define, implement, and manage business the processes for the three points above.
Are excited about the opportunity to have the responsibility to grow Birds.ai.
Believe the Birds.ai View of large/valuable objects and areas is part of the solution to many of today’s problems.
Are experienced in selling complex products which require a successful integration in the workflow of the customer.
Have (ideally) experience in the wind, energy, infrastructure or maintenance industry.
Have experience (ideally) as an entrepreneur or working in a startup.
Are able to spot and correct any mistakes, holes or risks in contracts we set up with customers. You are able to do this while keeping the customer happy.
Are enthusiastic about technologies like AI and drones.
Are proficient in English. Other languages such as Dutch, French and German are an additional benefit.
Are willing to travel to clients and events within Europe.
